German Forestry – Chestnut
On June 26, 2014, the Federal government will issue a 20 euro gold coin with a weight of 1/8 ounce.
The chestnut is a species of the beech family and can grow to over 30 meters in height and up to 1,000 years of age. This deciduous tree is the motif adorning this year’s small gold coin.
The gold coin is available to order from the Official Sales Agency for Collector Coins during the order period, expected to be from April 7 to May 16, 2014.
