“Ashore” 10 euro collector coin
This coin is the second issue of the three-part “Air in Movement” series that started in 2019, which focuses on young, dynamic sporting trends in which movement occurs exclusively through air or wind.
The image side depicts land sailing – a sport that takes place at the boundary between water and land. The design focuses on the main characteristics that make up this sport. It depicts an elegant and minimal image of the sailing vehicle, the so-called yacht, in the expanse of the landscape. The value side features an eagle, the lettering “BUNDESREPUBLIK DEUTSCHLAND” (FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF GERMANY), the denomination and value designation, the year 2020, the twelve stars of Europe as well as – depending on the mint – the mint mark “A” (Berlin), “D” (Munich), “F” (Stuttgart), “G” (Karlsruhe) or “J” (Hamburg).
The order period is from February 10 to March 10, 2020.
