10 euro collector coins 2019

  • “In the Air” 10 euro collector coin

The coin marks the start of a three-part “Air in Movement” series (2019 - 2021, one issue per year) and therefore follows on thematically from the release of the “Planet Earth” and “Climate Zones of the Earth” 5 euro coins, which were issued by the Federation with great success.

The image side depicts a paraglider, who is the focus of the illustration and is flying in a mountainous landscape. This is an excellent portrayal of the freedom and joy of flying in nature. The design of the value side fits well with the selected image side. It features an eagle in an open space, the lettering “BUNDESREPUBLIK DEUTSCHLAND” (FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF GERMANY), the denomination and value designation, the year 2019, the twelve stars of Europe as well as – depending on the mint – the mint mark “A” (Berlin), “D” (Munich), “F” (Stuttgart), “G” (Karlsruhe) or “J” (Hamburg).
