The discounted sales tax rate for collector coins ends on January 1, 2014. From 2014, the sales tax rate for collector coins and coin products will be 19%.
Gold coins are not affected by this change. These shall remain exempt from sales tax in accordance with Section 25c of the German Sales Tax Act.
