The order period for the two 2014 gold coins (the 20 euro gold coin from the “German Forestry” series, “Chestnut” motif, and the “UNESCO World Heritage – Lorsch Abbey” 100 euro gold coin) is from April 7 to May 16, 2014. During this time, you can order the coins easily using the order form that we will send to you with the next issue of prägefrisch, or – for private customers with a VfS customer number – via the online shop at www.deutsche-sammlermuenzen.de. Orders can no longer be placed by telephone or by e-mail. The gold coins will also no longer be allocated through existing subscriptions or standing orders from 2014.
Therefore, to obtain a 20 or 100 euro gold coin, you must submit an order each year from 2014.
The official issue prices will be set before the start of the order period and announced on the order form as well as on the VfS website. This will make the procedure more transparent and predictable for every customer.
Upon expiry of the order deadline, there will be an obligation to purchase for the allocated gold coins. There will be no right of cancellation. Multiple orders by a single person will be totaled.
If more gold coins are ordered than are available, the allocation may be limited. This means we can ensure that as many collectors as possible are taken into consideration during allocation.
Therefore, please only submit one order, if possible.
